Men’s
Ministry
The men usually meet the third Saturday
of every month at 11:00 in the morning.
With respect to the Men’s Ministry
at Kipling, it is safe to say that it’s newly formed
and that it is in its infancy stage. We have a current
membership of 17 men and recently officers were selected
in the area of president, vice-president, secretary and
assistant secretary. We have made our official launching
day view on April 16, with the staging of a family night.
That night consisted of lots of food and drinks along
with a musical presentation. At the end of the presentation
there were a few surprises with the handing out of presents
to unsuspecting persons that were present. Indeed it was
a night that was full of laughter and pleasantries imaginable
of every kind.
The main aim of this ministry is to further
the gospel of Christ in love through the giving a helping
hand to those who are in need in and throughout our community.
It is not a ministry that is geared strictly for the church
at Kipling but rather to ensure that this ministry reaches
individuals who have as yet to accept Jesus Christ as
their personal Saviour and Lord.
The men at Kipling have one single determination
and that is to accept and rise up to the challenge in
obedience to God through the commendation that He gave
Matthew to go on out and make disciples. The same is true
that the men at Kipling have made that determination by
a way of taking up the cross of Christ and following in
His foot steps, again with that determination to make
disciples.
